Waiting Well

Advent is a season of waiting. The word, Advent, comes from the Latin word, Adventus, which means arrival. So during Advent we wait for Jesus to arrive on Christmas but also we look ahead for when he will arrive again and make all things new. This means that a lot of the Christian life is actually spent waiting. Throughout this season of Advent, then, we’re going to be talking about how can we wait well? What does it mean to wait watchfully, hopefully, and expectantly on Christ to come?
